Custom Passive Hearing Protection for Hunting
dB-Shield Aware is Audiovox’s custom passive hunting hearing protection. They are compact and have a small handle that makes them easy to insert and remove. dB-Shield Aware comes with a cord to minimize the risk of dropping your hearing protection. The hearing protection is made of acrylic with build-in filters which allows the user to take the them in and out many times without discomfort.
The hearing protection is available with a 28 dB SNR noise filter that protects your hearing up to 172 dB from impulse noise from pistol, rifle and shotgun shots. When you’re at the range or hunting, you’re exposed to around 165 dB of impulse noise from rifle and shotgun shots. If you don’t protect your hearing, you could risk incurable hearing damage, such as tinnitus and hearing loss.

Hunting hearing protection
Audiovox hearing protection for hunting are custom made and individually adapted to the individual hunter’s ear canals, ensuring a high level of comfort over an entire hunt compared to traditional over-ear hunting earmuffs. You won’t be bothered by hot ears or pressure on the temple, as is the case with traditional hunting hearing protection.
Custom hearing protection is safer to use if you wear glasses or a hat during the cold winter months, as the noise reduction of a traditional over-the-ear hearing protection is reduced if they don’t fit snugly to the ear due to a glasses or hat getting in the way of the hearing protection.
